WHOIS / RDAP lookup

Modern WHOIS via RDAP. Returns registrar, dates, status, nameservers.

About this tool

WHOIS lookup answers a deceptively simple question: who owns this domain, when does it expire, and which nameservers point to it. The legacy WHOIS protocol is being replaced by RDAP across most TLDs — our tool prefers RDAP for cleaner, structured data and falls back to traditional WHOIS only when the registry hasn't shipped RDAP yet.

We don't log your queries. Other public WHOIS services build datasets out of who looks up what — every search you run elsewhere is potentially aggregated, sold, and used to build profiles. We run lookups server-side, return the result, and discard the query.

How it works

  1. 01

    You enter a domain

Submit any registered domain name — gTLD, ccTLD, or new-gTLD.

  2. 02

We hit the registry RDAP endpoint

The tool resolves the right RDAP server for the TLD via the IANA bootstrap registry, then queries it server-side.

  3. 03

    Result rendered, no logs kept

Registrar, registration / expiry dates, status codes, and nameservers are extracted and shown. The query is discarded after rendering.
